Notwithstanding challenges and difficulties, Raisethorpe Secondary has always withstood and overcome all obstacles and this is due, in no small measure, to the entrenched culture and ethos of the school, as well as the strong foundations that were laid by the leaders and educators and other stakeholders that have so ably served the school during the past five decades.

We would like to place on record our acknowledgment of the contributions of the six ex-principals for their contribution to the legacy of Raisethorpe Secondary School. We pay tribute to the late Mr S.K. Maharaj (principal from 1965 — 1977), to the late Mr N. Ramsudh (1978 — 1985), to Mr D.B. Singh (1985 — 1990), to Mr R.N. Naidoo (1992 — 1994), to Mr D. Bridgmohun (1996 – 2009), and to Mr I.N. Pillay(from 2009 – 2020)

We would also like to place on record, our appreciation to all members of staff, past and present, to members of the Education Committees and Governing Bodies, to all parents and other stakeholders, and to the community at large for the invaluable roles that you have played, and continue to play.

“Education is, after all, a partnership”
